Canvas &Wall: Misleading Wallpaper Service and Poor Installation – No Accountability
A few months ago, the Canvas and Wall team attended my home to install wallpaper in my guest bathroom. Unfortunately, it became apparent during the installation that the wallpaper and finish were not suitable for the space and the quality of the installation was not to an acceptable standard. When I raised my concerns with their sales consultant, I was informed that their business is primarily a printing company and not a wallpaper specialist. If that is the case, I question why clients are charged rates comparable to professional wallpaper installation companies. Canvas and Wall actively markets wallpaper products and installation services, which is the basis upon which I engaged their services. The installation was so unsatisfactory that I asked their installers to stop the work. They themselves acknowledged that the result was not right for the space. This occurred in April 2026, their owner just sent me an email informing me they will not be refunding me for the shody work done. Mind you when their installers arrive at your door they inform you they are not permitted to enter the premises without the full amount being settled with them at the door. I suppose they have that rule because they know they are not a proper wall paper company.
