Bad customer service and broken commitments

A car was purchased after assurances from company owner that it is in good running condition. The car was driver for 25 km (27minutes) and then there was a loud bang (the exhaust had a hole in it). The car then would not start. After contacting the seller, he indicated that he would have it fixed. It was towed to the nearest safe place (a garage) on new owner's expense (R1000). Since then a lot of commitments were made that car will be fixed but nothing has come of this. The car is still un-driveable and to tow home will cost R5000 ......
