canon ink tank printer

i bought an ink tank printer from dion wired, was told that canon was the way to go.firstly the blue was only half filled and when i got home the printer did not print all colours properly. when my son saw this he checked the printer and realised that the blue was not going where it was supposed to and so the colours were not mixing as they should. we took the printer back to dion wired cresta and asked them to see if they could sort this out. they sent it to canon.two weeks later i received the printer.while it was working properly, the blue was now less than half and so were the other two colours.i asked the manager at dion wired why this was so he said he would ask the canon rep for an answer. the canon rep's reply was that i needed to provide the ink so they could fix it.firstly,this was a brand new printer that was faulty,i should actually have gotten a new one.secondly,it came with half a blue ink and,now it has half of all the colours.if this printer yields 6000 copies,how many copies did they have to make in order to fix it.so their attitude is that i just made a mistake buying a faulty printer and the fact that, even though i didn't use all that ink and i have a brand new printer with half the ink,it is not their problem.

their attitude and lack of any kind of service leaves a lot to be desired and i do not advise anyone to buy a canon printer.
