Canon 700D is *******!

<p>On 3 September 2015, I got a Canon 700D in time for my son's birth. On 29 September 2016 (his birthday), I turn it on and it gives an Error 30.</p> <p> </p> <p>Apparently, this will now cost R3000 to repair! You cannot make this stuff up! It's as though Canon has built into the 700D, the specification for fail 26 days out of warrantee!</p> <p> </p> <p>I have a 55 year old Zeiss SLR that is still working, but Canon cannot build a camera that lasts most than 26 days past their 1 year warrantee or more than 1800 photos!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I cannot take photos of my son's 1st birthday with it. My Samsung point and shoot that cost 1/8th of the price is still going strong after 26000 pics!</p> <p> </p> <p>If you have a choice between an R8000 block of concrete and the Canon 700D, take the block of concrete because at least you know that it wont turn itself into a brick after a year!</p>
