Worst customer service ever. Save yourself the trouble, DO NOT BUY CANON PRODUCT/ PRINTERS!!!!!!

I have now bought two (2) Canon Printers in the span of three (3) years, all having the same exact issue. Printer 1 - whilst only using specified Canon ink (as per recommendation) the injectors clogged beyond repair. A weekly deep clean was done, thus there was no reason for the injectors jamming. After having the machine inspected, it was recommended to rather purchase a new printer as the repair cost will be sufficient to that of a new machine. Unfortunately with the injectors jamming just out of the warranty period, there was no other option but to buy a new printer. When purchasing the second printer (same model) I made sure to clarify what problems I had with the previous printer. The sales person then suggested that I try a generic ink that was 100% compatible with all Canon printers. Upon this suggestion it was made clear that this will not have an effect on the warrenty. HOWEVER... Within the first 6 months of using the new printer, the injectors jammed beyond repair. The printer was immediately returned to Game as it was still under warranty. The lady whom had helped was very kind and informative. She swiftly booked the printer to be sent directly to Canon, as this was deemed as a warranty repair. After a month of no feedback, endless calls made to Canon customer service they refused to do anything. Their reason for refusal was due to the generic ink "apparently". According to the Manager at both Game as well as Conon, the warrenty was no longer valid due to the use of genetic ink. When we informed them that upon date of purchase it was suggested to rather use generic ink as it won't effect the warranty. It was also noted in the warranty documents that there was no word of this. Upon hearing this both managers said with haist that nothing can be done, it is wat it is. With no other option, I turned to the Canon customer service / complaint department. This was utterly useless as the individuals have no idea what they are doing. When asking basic questions, seeking clarity on the matter. Only to have Conon support staff become temperamental, dropping the call right after having their tantrum stating that they do not work with Canon products. Upon calling again being sent from pillar to post eventually reaching someone after nearly half an hour of being on hold and/or being transferred to countless departments. Upon finally explaing the issue and asking if it might be an error on the model itself as both printers had the exact same issue, all whilst using Canon specified ink or the generic ink. Again the support staff lost their temper insisting the warranty wil not be valid if generic in is used as it is part of the warranty terms and conditions. Upon explaining that we were informed generic ink had no effect on the warranty nor does it mention anything in the documentation. The call was yet again dropped almost immediately, with no answer upon calling back. Till this day I have not yet received my printer back as it remains a constant struggle to get the proper assistance from individuals qualified to do their job.
