Canon a bunch of junk

In February of this year I bought a laser color printer and within a month and a half I started to have issues with the printer not printing my images without marks on it. With my query I was referred to contact partserve and had to book my printer (which I only could do now in June as we don’t live in Johannesburg) for repairs on a machine that started giving problems a month and a half after purchase. I was told a fuser was changed and when I got the machine back the ink did not set on my paper and a Calvin assisted me to change the settings (which was not necessary when I set it up in the beginning) and it seemed like the second issue was resolved till now, 2 weeks later. Now when I print my designs it looks like the ink has either shadowing or the other sheets it looks like waves. Now to have all of this hassle with a brand new machine is not very comforting and to have relevantly no customer service is worse. I feel that I was suppose to have been informed to get the machine exchanged as this was too soon after purchase to get these issues. The type of paper I use and the reason I bought the machine was to print water slide paper.
