FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED!!!

An agent of Cannon Asset Managers recently wrote an article in the Natal Mercury extolling the virtues of investing in PREFERENCE SHARES. Really? On similarly flawed advice I invested my life's savings in INVESTEC PREFERENCE SHARES in 2004. Today, 15 years later, they are worth a little over HALF what I invested! Each time I received a dividend the capital diminished by a similar sum ... and stayed there! You've been warned ... forewarned is forearmed!
