Do not park at Spar century city, you car will be clamped for standing in ot properly marked loading zone Jesse Vraagom Attachments 07:56 (6 hours ago) to ***, soc Good morning both. I spoke to Waylen this morning. I had an issue at spar this morning with my car being clamped. I parked outside in a parking not labeled for loading. There are signs there yes however it is not visible as they all 3 are under trees. If the whole parking is meant for trucks then each parking should be marked. Waylen assured my money would be refunded and I want it refunded immediately. Secondly the security that handled this matter was on some power trip that even spars security had to apologize on your security behalf. The new parking rules outside Spar were implemented last year, and we allowed a one-month grace period to inform patrons. I've attached photos of the parking signs, which we believe provide sufficient warning. As Century City is private property, we have the authority to designate loading areas as needed, provided we give adequate notice to patrons. We believe there is sufficient signage in place to warn motorists, and as per the attached photos taken today, the signs are clearly visible and are not obscured by trees. I understand your perspective, but ultimately, it is the driver's responsibility to adhere to the parking signs. You may have misunderstood the sign, as it indicates that the whole area is designated for delivery trucks only and that delivery vehicles are allowed to park there for 15 minutes only. Our staff do not actively monitor the specific area and only enforce when they come across transgressors while on patrol. If it is that no other cars are allowed to park there at all and only loading vehicles then there needs to be a clear sign. Also note that your own security said that this was implemented this year February and not last year as YOU are stating. There is no security to let patrons know not to park in that particular area and nor are there clear visible signs telling you not to park there. Please send me the time stamps of original photos, as clearly these are old and don't even have the tree growth that you can clear see i took when all of this was happening I expect a response ASAP from you and your management. CANAL WALK MALL Turning off our mobile networks
I need Canal walk to fix the thing they put there to turn shoppers network service off. They even have it on the bathrooms. It’s the only mall in South Africa where when you go there your phone basically doesn’t work. Their free WiFi kicks itself off the minute you connect.. do you know a phone is an emergency need, and how unsafe free WiFi at a mall is? A person you meeting at a mall can’t find you cos your phone is off and somehow you discover that late. Really it’s been like that for years and it ****ed me off. Fix this, you have all that mall with all the needs but it’s insufferable spending that much time there with no connection
