House rules.. what rules??

<p>I am currently a student and living at CampusKey Potchefstroom. I was told that there are rules and this is the perfect place for any student to study.</p> <p>The main problem is the rules do not get implemented. There have been so many cases where there is noise after 10pm. The 'emergency' number does not work and the only way to communicate the problem is to send an email, which is not effective at 2am or 3am, or to go to the office the next morning. There has also been incidents where **** was smoke on the premises. </p> <p>Sometimes students who break the rules will get a fine within the week but it is not a solution. I can't study with noise and screaming just outside my window, and at this moment it has started to affect my studies. I have talked to management and still no action is taken. I also feel unsafe becuase i feel there is no security becuase sometimes gates are open, some gates can be opened with force and with conflict that arises becuase alcohol abuse.</p> <p>If this continues i will be forced to move to another complex where rules are followed. </p> <p>I see this as a breach of the contract on CampusKey's side..</p> <p>I hope that this brings attention to CampusKey snd that a solution can be found.</p> <p> </p>
