Keeping our deposit back - agains the law

Hi Buca I tried to comment on your post - We had exactly the same issue with them. They charged us for replacing of so many things and we have proof that these items were damaged by the previous people. Things that we were willing to pay for was exaggerated and charged HUGE amounts for. After trying to reason with them and sending lots of photo's and also speaking to the agent Principle (Marie, who is Chantelles mother) we were just ignored - they have your money and you can basically forget it! We decided to report them to the Estate Agent Board who is now conducting a full investigation and may decide to take discipline steps. The stuff we paid for have not even been fixed in the particular house! If you also report them maybe we can stop this abuse of students who rent from these companies!!!
