Broad light *******

Campus living Stellenbosch, has been by far the WORST experience in dealing with. Not only myself, but my past digs mates and even other friends in properties under Campus Living have been charged unbelievably high prices to fix snags such as painting walls where you end up being liable for R5000 or even more. I was recently charged R1300 to only partially paint and clean my room. Firstly I don't know how painting one wall and cleaning 1 small room would cost that much. Max R500. Secondly when I moved in I took photos of a huge amount of marks on my walls that were there, so I shouldn't be charged for painting and my room was spotless when I left.
After complaining for 3 weeks, I received this money back after they "accidentally" deducted this from my deposit. Imagine if they "accidentally" charge such expenses to the many tenants they have and they don't pick up on their negligence. The company would be in for a whole lot of ********* money.

Students are continuously being taken advantage of and this company completely exploits that. Apart from the high prices, the service is shocking. Where even when we were broken into due to the cleaning staff THEY hire, who literally let people come rob us in broad daylight, they don't care. (Never mind the fact that the week prior the incident I told them I didn't trust the service that was in) They initially make you feel as if they do have your best interest but at the end of the day, they really care about is the money.

I wouldn't advice anyone to rent properties through them as I and many others have only had grief. Save yourself the stress and huge amounts of money because it has honestly been the most frustrating company to deal with for the past two years.
