Poor service

I was in an accident in Pretioria, 3 blocks from my home. The brokers insisted I had to wait for Daantjies Towing to come all the way from Krugersdorp to tow my car to Midrand. I was assured that I will not be respponsible for storage or towing costs. I then received a letter from the insurers where they stated they will be deducting R4695.00 from my settlement amount for storage and towing. <br> <br> I had to constantly chase them for updates. Most of my questions were ignored. I was then told that the panelbeaters have to pay me money instead of the insurers, but I did not even know who the panelbeaters were!<br> My monthly car installment still went off, after which I tried to follow up with the bank and the brokers again. I was then told the insurers wont pay before receiving the original registration documents from the bank. As far as I know those docs are only released after the bank receives the settlement amount. I asked for the complaints procedure, whereafter the insurers suddenly received authorisation to proceed without these documents. <br> <br> I have been with these brokers for 4 years and this was my first accident. The service has been appalling!
