poor service received

very poor service. so over 2 years ago we booked this venue, and I was requested to pay a R5000 deposit to save the date which I did. Due to financial issues we had to postpone to the next year. My partner then was unfaithful, so I then requested a refund which then was told I can't get it back and after numerous messages which i have proof of they now said I have forfeited my deposit, so they have basically ****** my money because they charge you R5000 to book a date and don't care about their clients.
