CAMP MASTER FRIDGE

<p>I purchased a Campmaster fridge/freezer on 3 December 2013 at Makro in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, Western Cape. Since July 2015 the fridge wasn’t freezing anymore. It wasn’t used often in this period, about 7 times.</p> <p>When I phoned Campmaster they gave me the name of a technician but he was far away from Melkbos then I approached Makro. They said they will recommend someone as they don’t do repair work themselves. The technician they recommended said nothing is wrong and he just re-gassed it and charged R450-00.</p> <p>On my trip to Namibia, I realized it is still not working as all the meat, etc defrosted. In Keetmanshoop we stopped at a refrigeration company. They said there is a leak on the inside of the fridge and there is nothing they can do to repair it. R150-00 later.</p> <p>I’ve paid R6 500-00 to have the use of a fridge/freezer for only about 10 times. Surely Campmaster can give an explanation as to how an expensive appliance can only be utilized for such a short period of time.</p> <p> </p>
