Appalling quality and not waterproof

We purchased the Campmaster buffalo cabin 8 sleeper tent second hand from people who only used it once unfortunately it did not rain so they didn'tknow that the tent was of such poor quality and not waterproof which according to the packaging descriptionit should be. We went to Kosi bay on a 4x4 trail camping trip which was at least 2hours away from the closest town and not the easiest roads to travel. We set up the tent and had rain the first night and realised the tent was leaking everywhere, water was seeping in from the corners of the tent and through the tent all over like a waterfall. The tent is so thin and of poor quality we can almost see straight through the tent like a window and waterdroplets actually form on the inside o the tent as soon as the rain falls on the side of the tent. The floor which should be the most waterproof part of the tent was leaking and allowing water. We were basically swimming in our tent and had to go buy a new 2 man tent just to have something to sleep. The R500 bush baby tent was way better than the R3000 we had to spend on a tent that was of no use to us in the end and cost us a arm and a leg and was suppose to make our camping trip a breeze.
