Supervisorrefuses woman is distress to use restroom
This morning I went through a traumatic experience at Cambridge food at the market . I was on my way home when I realised that I had started my menstrual cycle and was heavily bleeding . I walked and took some essential items including sanitary pads as my under ware was messed . I then proceeded to the cashier and asked if I could use the ladies as I needed to get cleaned up and wear a sanitary pad . She advised me to speak to her supervisor , when I approached her and explained my situation and she straight out refused me allow me to use the rest room . I was left it total dismay and highly embarrassed as my clothes were seriously messed . I paid for my stuff and left . I was so embarrassed when a someone tapped my back and told me that my jeans were messed . I have never been so humiliated in my life . As a woman the supervisor should have understood my situation . Menstruation is a natural cycle which changes without any warning . I will never set foot at Cambridge Foods . I just needed a restroom to put on a sanitary pad and to change into another pair of jeans that u had just bought and one of the surrounding stores . The humiliation I suffered is beyond words . I don't wish this experience on anyone else . I hope Cambridge can be sympathetic and understanding and improve on their customer service or lack thereof . I was a paying customer and to be treated in such an inhumane and degrading way was unnecessary and wrong . I'm a grown woman I would have left the or rest room as clean as I would have found it .
