Leaking Electricity Kettle

I bought a Sunbeam Cordless Kettle on the 9th of August 2015, used it the same day and it was working. To my there was water all over and I noticed the kettle was leaking right on the element. At the store all they did was to put water inside the kettle and say there is nothing wrong with it. I will have to the matter urgently if no one is willing to help Asap.
