Don't forget to carry your VAT calculator to Cambridge

Are we now supposed to hold calculators when going to do groceries because of the increase in VAT? I went to cambridge liquor in Cosmo city today to buy a drink, I picked a can of energy drink that was CLEARLY marked to be R12,99....but when i got to the till point I was told by a very unfriendly cashier that the price is actually R13,76 .,as i was arguing the price on the shelf against the one on the system with the cashier, some lady who wasn't in uniform but had a name tag "Nospho" came out of the door behind and budged into the conversation by asking me to read a piece of paper on the hall "VAT increase notice".I asked what date it was and when was the increase added,(so all their pricing is incorrect),,10 days after and the shop is still hanging old prices on the hall just to embarrass us by the till point like we cannot afford what we trying to buy,,,,I mean everyone's eyes were on me like am some thieve while Nospho was telling me that the person who was supposed to change the prices was not on duty,,,,,,yeah right for 10 days and we have to suffer????????get ur story right
