Application to teach online rejected - 14 yrs teaching abroad, others teach with no prior experience

I've just returned from fourteen years of teaching abroad and was eager to move my teaching online. There are many teachers on this platform with absolutely no experience, who have app**** to teach, been accepted and happily earning a living doing so. I know this because I have friends with Cambly, one of whom had no prior teaching experience. She too was in the dark as to why I was turned away.

Initially when I app****, I was under the impression Cambly were not accepting South Africans (I have dual passport, both British and South African). I currently live in Cape Town, South Africa. I was told that the rejected application emails sent out are system generated, more than likely because they're picking up on my location, so I used a VPN when I next app****.

And yet I then realized that many, many South Africans and British nationals on the site, so it couldn't be a country or nationality related issue, I'm sure many of which don't have teaching experience, but the generic email they send off reads that because of the amount of applications they receive, they won't be able to provide personalized feedback. No reasons given. There are only a few select reasons why online companies reject applicants, to which they could create templates based on the criteria which aren't met and email these as once off responses, rather than fundamental and ********* business practice.

So disappointed, and I have letters of reference, email address and telelphone numbers of references that will vouch for my standard of teaching, including a teaching award received by the 'Chinese International Teachers Association'. I find this all so disilussioning.
