taken off medical aid before cancellation date
I resigned from CAMAF with a months' notice, effective 31 December 2015, yesterday I went to Dis-Chem for my prescription, there they informed me that I'm no longer a member and that I have to pay cash for my prescription. I've paid my membership fee for December and should be covered for December 2015 as the resignation is only effective 31/12/2015. This is really poor service, they want your membership fee on the first of the month but you get no service for the last month as a member.
