Negligence in response

My wife send a message a week ago regarding her chronic medication. She has sent more messages and called to no avail. I cannot understand why it takes so long to return a message with regards to someones health. The fact that she is suffereing side effects based and needs sorting out as soon as possible is what I would consider ********* practice that is bordering on plain negligence.

Good day Adrian

We apologise for the delay in communicating the outcome of the application, however, please note that we received a telephone call from Dr Greenslade on 06/10/2017 to update Mrs Perumal’s medication. We advised the doctor that the medication has been updated and expected this message would then be relayed to Mrs Perumal. Unfortunately it wasn’t.

Please be advised that Mrs Perumal’s medication has been approved and can be claimed for successfully. An authorisation letter will be emailed to you shortly confirming this.

Should you have any further queries please contact the clinical risk department on ***or email ***.

Kind Regards,

Priantha Reddy

Clinical Risk Supervisor

Thank you for your prompt response and communication. Whilst we appreciated the positive outcome , I like to point out that whilst the Dr unfortinately did not convey the outcome to us, neither did the clinical risk department after 2 emails, 3 calls and a voice message to the above provided contacts. It is rather disappointing that comfirmation and comminicatiom directly to the member was sent to the after the publication on hellopeter.com Have a good day
