Membership Extension Refused
My wife and I have been CAMAF members since 2006. Now, with an enforced change in employment, CAMAF has refused to allow us to continue our membership with the scheme. There has not been any empathy shown or consideration for our requirements despite our previous history with the scheme. It would appear that we are only numbers, despite us wanting to stay on the scheme despite the fact that it would be more expensive to do so than to move away.
Good day Zia
Camaf is a closed Scheme and can only accept memberships based on the criteria for Individual Membership which was emailed to you earlier today. Should your husband meet this criteria, you are more than welcomed to apply and join as Individual Members. However, if your husband's Employer makes use of Camaf (Conditions of Employment) you are also able to join Camaf through his Employer.
Being a closed Scheme, we unfortunately aren't in the same position as an Open Scheme where membership is open and not subject to certain Criteria.
