HISTORY OF UNPAID CLAIMS

surprised by the statements and the calls from the doctors that were not paid, the benefit requires me to go to only the Netcare hospitals i went to Netcare Milpark early hours of the morning on the 11-07-2021 and attended by the emergency unit to check and observe and i was discharged later the same day and i had another emergency for the baby on the 19-09-2021 this time i went to Netcare Garden city the baby Zenande was also attended by the emergency unit and was not admitted but observed and discharged then i tried to buy meds with the script given by the doctor and it was rejected, now i got so confused because the hospital is netcare as per the medical aid plan and also received calls that i am owing the doctors as well . i called CAMAF and i was told that they can only pay if I'm admitted HOW? that is my question the reason why i have the medical aid is for emergencies and how would i know that the doctors on the emergency unit are not under the network and wont be covered and i am not the one to decides whether to be admitted or not this days patients are not admitted due to COVID as long as it is not life threatening, so this means i will have debts for the unpaid doctors while i have medical aid that is paid every month without fail, I'm really disappointed with CAMAF the most important claim is not paid (Emergency) . I am sad i was suppose to by meds cash. right now i have history of unpaid claims that i did not complain about on the previous plans for DOUBLE PLUS PLAN for the braces i have R12000 outstanding payment to pay the orthodontist for the braces still not removed because of the money that needs to be paid, how did it get to R12000 ? I will never tell you. I have been a member for 7 years they are full of stories if they can check their record i once registered my daughter Zizile for chronic which is a skin condition called Lamellar ichthyosis i sent all the reports required from the dermatologist but they took me from pillar to post requesting for codes the doctor don't even know i ended up removing my daughter from the medical aid for a year because it was not working for me and i was paying a lot for my daughter not to be covered under chronic. i decided to add my daughter Zizile again on the same medical aid but did not register her as chronic while she still has one but now i feel ****** and not getting the service I'm paying for . Camaf is a good medical aid maybe i am not just the lucky one. if i were given a chance or an option by my HR i think i might look at other medical aid options.
