Claim rejected
This claim was for malaria medication. I previously phoned the call centre and I was told that Mozitech would be covered by my immunisation balance. Now the claim has been rejected and this morning when I phoned I was told this won’t be covered by my OTC, Medication or Immunisation balance. I am extremely frustrated by this service as CAMAF continues to disappoint me by not covering the medication I need. I have high balances for all of the above but I cannot use them because my claims are always rejected. I am highly disappointed with this service.

Regardless, I do not understand why I can’t use my medication or OTC benefit to cover this. Please explain why I cannot use my own benefit balances to cover medication that is necessary??? Every single time I claim for something it is rejected because of this “approved list”. Is there a way that we has members can have access to this approved list? How am I supposed to know which medication I can get if I do not have access to this approved list of medication? I am seriously considering making a plan to move medical aids because I am deeply frustrated by the service I am receiving from CAMAF and I do not feel that I am being covered at all. Please advise how I can know which medications are on this approved list?
