claim not met for 2 weeks
I must say am very disappointed at camaf's service given the amount I pay on a monthly basis. On the 28.07.2015 I submitted a claim and called the next day to enquire about the same claim but nothing was found, I called again the following day to be kept waiting and told to give it a good 2 days. I called last week again to enquire about the same claim but nobody seemed to know anything and told to callback again (like it's a free call) after calling last week Tuesday I was told the membership number was wrong and to resend the claim (nowhere in the call was it mentioned I need to hand signature the document).i called on the same day but I still did not get a valid answer. I called in yesterday again I spoke to some Indian lady who was checking for something she clearly knows noting about and I couldn't stay on the call and asked her to email me her findings of which she did not. I called today requesting for a supervisor of which a \senior agent"called me only to find that I had to include my signature on the document"
04/08/2015, you have called our Call centre to query if your claim was received. The call dropped before the consultant could provide you with feedback. However, she has called you back but there was no answer. A voicemail was left to explain that your claim has an incorrect member number on it.
05/08/2015, we have advised you that the claim does not have your correct member number. We also confirmed twice that we require your member number and signature.
07/08/2015, your claim was received and rejected as the hand written member number was not signed on remittance dated 07/08/2015.
14/08/2015 Our Supervisors were in a meeting at the time of your call, thus we have a trusted Senior Consultant who is able to manage escalations in our absence.
Our Senior Consultant listened to the calls made on 05 August 2015, as per your request & provided you with feedback.
On 18/08/2015, we have received your amended claim with your signature. The claim is currently with our claims department for urgent processing.
For future, please ensure that your claims have the correct member number on it for efficient processing.
Yours Sincerely,
Tertia Louw
