Camaf won't honour payment
In Nov. 2018 I was admitted to hospital for a major surgery and when I was discharged the doctor booked me off work for six weeks. The doctor also advise that I should come back for check up to see if I am healed enough to get back to work of which I did. The medical aid is now refusing to saying that I should have first gotten a referral letter from my GP first before going for check up. What I don't understand is why should I take my wounded self to the GP who knows nothing about my sickness to see the doctor who operated me. I can't afford to pay the doctor R1000 cash when I have a medical aid which I pay every month.
