CAMAF Treatment of a medical emergency

I had a medical emergency on Saturday 20 January at 14:00, and rushed my daughter to the ER at Netcare Linmed, the closest hospital to me. She had an allergic reaction, starting with her eyes swelling up and then her throat. However, CAMAF did not see this as a medical emergency and took all the funding from my annual savings.

My employer enforces membership with CAMAF. This is not out of choice. The freedom of choice and inclusivity have never truly been an option in SA.
