A medical out of touch with reality

I am on the network choice. I paid R7800 per month for me and 3 dependents.

My daughter (4) became very sick on 28 October 2018, Sunday afternoon. With no doctors open and without using the emergency room in a year. I rushed her to hospital and the doctors attend to her. Did stomach scans etc. months later I received laywers letters for two separate bills amounting R1600. Apparently the medical aid rejected the claim because we did not get a referral from a network doctor before we went to the hospital. All logic and circumstances ignored. It’s a Sunday, doctors do not “trade” Sunday and I could not wait for a Monday...

In response to my complain via a rep, camaf is now making provision for these circumstances and will cover it in future.

I would like to hear from them... I am going to use every medium possible.
