Caltex Autocenta Fishhoek

i took my atos to the auto centa and was quoted by Patrick well over R20 000 to re do the engine. i accepted and the work was carried out. almost immediately, when the car was going up a hill under strain large plombs of white smoke would be emitted. when i raised my concern with Patrick he said the engine may be settling. after the engine had been torqued i drove it to johannesburg. on the way i started having severe problems and only just made it home. my mechanic in johannesburg who i have used for many years told me that the job was shoddy and several important procedures were not carried out correctly. it cost me a further R10 000 to put the matter right. Patrick would not contribute anything to this.. be very wary. he is very friendly but i certainly would not go near his workshop again
