Unprofessional conduct and continued unpleasant customer service experience - Caltex Service Station North Wollongong

Was getting some milk this morning and usually a returning customer for groceries and fuel, and use this servo as my go-to. I arrived at the counter and gave my coins and milk to the older man with glasses, who seems to be on most mornings. He seemed to be moody and it has been that way especially in the mornings, as well as uninterested and no engagement with customers, and not a nice expression on his face, as I observed prior to my transaction. This has been the case with him frequently now. And because of this my customer service experience was really poor. Does not make me feel welcome like he used to, no eye contact, no welcome or anything, just doing the bare minimum and it's really rough and discouraging.
As he was processing the transaction, with coins (simple) I did not require the receipt, as I said "Thanks mate" and proceeded to walk out, as there was a long line behind me and he did not really engage, and I did not see the point of just standing there as the transaction was complete and more so, he was not making me feel comfortable. As I went to walk out he commented "How rude" with a sigh, as my back was turned to him when walking out. This was really displeasing to here as all the other staff are really lovely here and it's a shame lately how he's been letting them down because he brings his emotions to his customers. It is extremely unprofessional conduct but I can honestly say I'm not surprised due to his recent attitude towards me, and seemingly so just in general with what he does. Also it's not his position to comment on other people's behaviour. Not in my right mind what he said was warranted. I did everything I could, it's not like I'm the one needing to drive the conversation with him, which it has been lately. I think he needs to practice what he preaches for starters. Being highly qualified and having extensive experience in customer service, I feel I understand what is right and wrong in customer service, regardless of what field. Saying that, let alone not to my face speaks volumes of his character towards me recently.

His customer service has been really discouraging and, as a returning and loyal customer is discouraging to continue returning to this service station. Really not enjoying my experience because of one guy. The accumulation of the way you'e been treating me of all the little things add up. I will be calling Customer Feedback at some point today and put in a complaint. I'll be sure to put in extra effort and drive further to other service stations to get my gear to be assured a positive and welcoming experience. No point returning when you're going to be treated like ****. :/
