*******ly charging for alcohol during lockdown

To whom it may concern

I went to Callistos at Suncoast Casino in KZN on 29 January 2021.

We were offered drinks and we asked if alcohol would be sold and as we were in lockdown, we were told that we can't get alcohol but they can make the drinks without alcohol. We therefore ordered 4 mocktails (labelled as Pineapple and Peach on the attached receipt).

I would like to lay a complaint as to why I was charged for alcoholic drinks when the drinks were without alcohol. We asked the manager and he said unfortunately only the head office can change that and that is just how it is. So we were charged for alcoholic drinks but given the same drinks without alcohol.

Are you saying that we are responsible for paying for your loss on not being able to sell alcohol? Or are you selling alcohol during a lockdown, because that's what your financials look like?

I am very upset by this and it's actually day light ******* of consumers. I expect a response and this to be corrected.
