A Wonderful Turnaround

Over the years, I have visited Calisto's only once in a while, i.e. with a break of two to three years between visits. The reason is that Calisto's has never been really exciting. In fact, the service has often been poor and the food average to mediocre.

Today I ate at Calisto's Gold Reef City. Wow! What a change! The menu was much better than in the past. The most exciting item was no longer steak with egg on top. The food was amazing. The peri-peri sauce was really tasty. The salad was delicious. The pickled chilli and pickled vegetables was wonderful. The bread roll was a good size and tasty.

And the service I received from Gertrude was absolutely super. I hope that my wonderful experience today is a sign of a new Calisto's. If it is, I will no longer wait for years between visits.
