DO NOT RENT WITH CALIBER PROPERTIES

I’ve been fighting Caliber properties for two months now over my deposit. I moved out on the 1st of March, as you know deposit is supposed to be refunded in 21 days latest. Inspection and everything was done properly but when it was time to get my deposit back I was given the run around. After 21 days still no deposit, I call, email and nothing. Till I got Emil’s personal number (he was the one processing my deposit) he tells me that their policy says they can’t refund deposits during lockdown but they should have done so within 21 days and lockdown only came afterwards. Also what does lockdown have to do with anything cause funds are still available? Just like how people can still pay rent during lockdown I can still get my deposit.
