Caliber practises ******* EVICTIONS

<p>I moved into Apartments on Gerhard in October 2016. No inspection was done, reported faults numerous lyrics without assistance. </p> <p> </p> <p>Wall and roof leak constantly. We have had issues with payments reflecting on time due to incorrect reference numbers. We have explained many times however Caliber then proceeded to disallow us access to electricity. As far as I understand this is direct contravention of the Rental Housing act under Unfair Practises. My wife is 8 months pregnant and we now have no access to electricity. </p> <p> </p> <p>I spoke with Christine from Caliber who informed me that they put a stop notice on our electricity account and would only authorised access once proof of payment is received, clearly admitting that she had taken the steps.</p>
