Rude and poor service

Good morning

My cousin had ordered two aluzinc sectional garage doors with motors from Cala Buildit and she was assisted by Lubabalo Ngozi. The doors were delivered more than a week back and she requested me to install them.

Upon seeing the doors, I made the following findings:

1. The hardware (hinges, rollers, *****s, side cables, side and centre bearings were not there.

2. The garage motors are one of the weak motors one can think of.

I told her that the doors were fine, just that it was impossible to install them without the hardware. But I strongly advised her to ask them to take take back the garage motors and bring her proper ones.

She spoke to the sales person (Lubabalo Ngozi) and he insisted that everything was there. She gave me the salesman's number and as an experienced installer, I politely explained to him what was missing from those doors. He promised to speak to his manager and their supplier, but he never got back to me.

I called him two days later and he asked me if I know how to install those doors because their supplier claim everything was there. I spoke to a guy with a name of Malcom (Buildit Manager) and by the sound of his tone I could tell he was irritated.

He confirmed this by saying we were giving a headache and he asked who I was and I explained to him. He said he was going to send his guys to go check the doors. About an hour later, the salesman called saying he was by my cousin's house and the hardware was there.

To my suprise, he's not an installer and does not have expertise when it comes to the garage doors. I stood my ground and told him what was missing because I have installed more than 100 of these doors.

He claimed to have gobe to my cousin's house with an installer who confirmed that the was nothing missing. "Please ask your guy to install those doors as they are and I'll give him R10 000." These were my words to him because I knew it was impossible to install them without the missing hardware but were ended up fighting on the phone.

Yesterday (02/08/2019), I went to Cala Buildit to try and explain to the store manager what was missing from those doirs and I wanted to ask him to go with me to a nearby house where I have installed those doors so that I could show him what was not in the doors they have supp**** my cousin with.

As I entered his office, I greeted and introduced myself but I could see he was not interested. "You were rude to my guy and I dont want to listen to anything from a village boy who does not not know anything about garage doors and I'll not speak to you but to the person who ordered those doors." He said.

We had a heated argumentand he stood up, walked torwards me and threated to punch me. A footage from the camera in his office can prove this. My cousin is so frustrated by this rude and poor service so much that she wants him to take his incomplete doors and give back her money.
