Cake Zone (Soweto, Maponya Mall) Following your *********** response on Thursday 20 June 2024, we further made thorough investigations on your cakes bought on Monday 17 June 2024 and it was found that you use an excessive amount of bicarbonate of soda, to keep your cakes soft which can be a health hazard and could cause diarrhoea.
The unpleasant taste is bicarbonate of soda added in your dough, could be your signature ingredient but it's not safe.
