Stale Cakes!!!!!!

I'm soooo disappointed and angry because i spent R210 for cakes that are stale, i had bought my dad 2 cakes for his birthday at Chris Hani Crossing in Vosloorus. What dissapoint me even further the dates of the expiry date said best before 10 October 2023 but it was stale as ****!!
