Salty Amarula cake

My name is Zondi Khazamula, I went to cakezone Maponya mall on the 19/06 to my husband's birthday cake because I know how tasty their cakes are Unfortunately this time around the cake I bought had a different taste in between it had a salty taste, did not enjoy it at all. Even other members of the family were complaining about the taste. So we threw the pieces away. Unfortunately we had cut the cake to half but no one enjoyed that cake. I went to cake zone the following day on the 20th with cake that was left. The lady that assisted me called their boss to dicide whether they will exchange or refund. I paid R113 for that cake and was given a cake R70 because the cake was cut and I was told that I was supposed to bring the pieces that were cut??♀️ We in lockdown due to Covid and I'm told I should have brought back the pieces we ate. I took the cake they gave me and left the half for them to investigate. The lady from their contact center was supposed to call me and give me feedback on Tuesday, I'm still waiting for that call. Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm never setting my foot in cakezone because this what they think about their customers. 'People buy cake, eat it and bring it back saying it's not nice. Meaning I'm not the first customer to complain. I also work with customers, bu this kind of service is unacceptable. Really ???
