Uninterested, unhelpful staff who are lying to their customers.

I had bought a Luminox watch last year from Cajees in Fourways Mall. This last weekend the strap broke and after visiting Cajees Fourways they suggested I contact their Mall of Africa branch to order it in. I spoke to the gentleman on Sunday and he confirmed that he will find out if they have stock the next day, a Monday, as that is when the supplier would be open.

That Monday I phoned in before lunch and the same gentleman said he had sent an email to the suppliers that morning to which I asked him to please phone the suppliers and get an answer for me instead of going back and forth with emails. He assured me he would do that and that was the last I heard of him.

Today I phoned and a lady answered to which I explained the above. She then told me that she remembers me phoning on Sunday and told me that the gent sent the mail on Sunday to which I told her that that isn't what the gent told me, he told me that he only sent it on Monday morning as the supplier was closed. She came up with some story then said she would get back to me. So I asked if she even had my details. She said yes so I then asked her to confirm them with me and she couldn't, asking me to leave my details again with her...

While struggling to get any decent service from Cajees, I decided to pop past a jewelry store in Fourways Mall that PHONED the supplier and gave me an answer in 10min! I have ordered it through them and after getting a rough estimate of +-R900 from Cajees for the strap replacement, this other jewelry shop is charging me R390-00 for the same original strap.

Cajees are quick to sell you their products but when it comes to servicing said products, it seems that it just isn't worth their time to deal with small ticket requests.
