repair battery and watch faulty

I took my fossil watch for battery repair. The owner replaced the battery as I enquire on the waterproofing. He took the watch back and returned after a while confirming all in order. After a few days I discovered that my watch visibility is bad because of damping and water. I returned it and was explained the the watch must be booked in for water testing and waterproofing. This will be at my own costs now. This was not handled and repaired professionally and lack of knowledge.
