Disgusting service from Time Zone at Cajees Clearwater Mall

<p>Service at this branch is disgusting. I purchased a Guess watch from this shop in December 2015 and on that day all staff was all over me to assist in the purchase, because it was nearly a R3000 sale. On 15 March 2017 I took the watch in because there was a problem with it, as it keeps on getting wet on the inside of the watch. When I arrived at the store and explained to the guy what the problem was, he told me that the watch is not water proof. I told him that its not water proof, but it is water resistant. He then in a very rude manner explained to me that water resistant means splash proof and not water resistant. iI explained to him that its not like the watch gets put into water all the time. This happens because the watch gets worn on a daily basis and when washing my hands, the water splashes onto the watch. I asked him how can this expensive watch not handle something like this? All he said is that this is not a sports watch and should not be worn every day. He took the watch from me and his exact words to me was "you can collect it tomorrow anytime after 10:00am. I left the shop and did some research with regards to watches that are 50m water resistant. It showed that a watch which is 50m water resistant means that its suitable to swim with. Not too often, but it is possible to withstand these conditions. On 16 March 2017 I went back to the shop to collect the watch. Upon arrival, all staff was standing at the counter and as I walked into the shop, no one greeted me, which I feel is very unprofessional in the first place. I then handed the guy my repair slip and asked him what was the problem and what did they do. He once again rep**** rudely by saying nothing. I asked him why the water then keeps on ending up inside the watch, and he just said "because its not waterproof" . I then took the watch and as I walked out the store, the other staff members talked to each other, looked at me and started laughing. I went back into the store and explained to the guy what I have read up on the 50m water resistant watches. He got all uptight with me and said he will give me the number of the agent. I said he can leave it and I left the store. I feel that this is unacceptable customer service. First of all when you are there to purchase something, then everyone is friendly and wants to help you, but when you have a query, then they cant even greet you when you walk into the store and they treat you like a peace of *******. This store will never see me again. Very disappointed in this disgusting customer service.</p>
