Cajees does not honor warranty

I purchased a TISSOT watch in January 2013, and it was handed in to Cajees in December 2014 under warranty. The salesperson/manager Dave mentioned that the supplier was closed and that they may not honor the warranty when they re-open, as they would open after the warranty period. I made it clear that it was not my problem, and that the watch was handed back in within the warranty period to Cajees. Three months later, I now get a quote for R900! I refuse to pay this amount for something that is under warranty.
