CABLINGWEB JOHANNESBURG MULTICHOICE ACCREDITED INSTALLERS, LIES

At the beginning of lockdown my DSTV explora decoder was hit by lightning and DSTV replaced it with a explora 3a. I contacted Cablingweb as DSTV had advised they were Multichoice accredited installers. Cablingweb’s number is ***, person spoke to was Shaun, (info on the internet as Multichoice accredited installer.) Person that they sent out was, Brian, their invoice has DSTV NETWORK as heading? Numbers, ***, 061- ***. Needless to say they made a total mess, were here for 2 day's, did not need to do any wiring, added a few items (LNB and splitter) connected a line amp incorrectly, picture froze every day, found inputs were used for outputs by a professional installer, left the setup in a total mess. I sent an email to *** requesting the mail of top management, and the reply was, what seems to be the problem. I then sent the whole story to them, pictures of workmanship, setup not working and freezing etc and asked them to pass onto their top management. To date no reply. Then a week later sent an email to ombudsman assist, to provide me with the email of the ombudsman that could help with an issue regarding this problem. They rep**** please contact the office of the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud for assistance. Sent them the whole issue, pictures etc. Till today no reply. i was charged R3500 for the useless work, the useless technician Brian had 2 other people with him, just as useless & on leaving became quite aggressive and wanted cash before leaving. I told him that In was going to report the incident. The cost of the LNB & line amp (which was old and scratched) does not even cost R1000. Total *******. The disappointing thing is that Cablinweb as well as the ombudsman did not have the decency to follow up, assist and reply? DO NOT MAKE USE OF CABLINGWEB they are a total ******* company.
