Risk of Covid 19 outbreak at C-Steinwig Bridge in Durban Port

It is so sad to find a big global company like C-Steinwig Bridge in Durban Port exposing its worker to Covid 19 when the SA Government is trying so much to combat the spread of this pandemic that is terrorizing the whole world.

I visited this company on the 16th of April 2020, and I got a shock of my life when I saw only a security guard at the gate wearing a mask and having a sanitizer. The rest of the company, the staff is operating as normal with no Covid 19 PPE.

This company is shipping container with deferent kinds of merchandises and trucks are moving in and out of the weigh bridges handling paper work from different sources of information centres. The entire staff has no gloves, face masks, and sanitizers where these documents are being exchanged.

This exposes staff to this pandemic and as long as this continues, we are going to see a serous outbreak at the Bridge Port.
