C-Med Covid-19 Testing Centre not adhering to regulated Covid-19 testing fees.

My husband went for a Covid PCR Test on the 13/06/22 at C-Med Covid- 19 Testing Centre. He was charged R950, not knowing that the agreed price by the Competition Commission is R500. C-Med's website says they charge R950 for PCR testing for travel purposes. At no stage did he mention he was travelling, as he was not. He took this up with the company and was met with quite aggressive behavior to "check his facts" Please make sure when you go hear to ask upfront what fee they are charging as they are not adhering to regulated fees, and as in this case, may even charge you for a travel test without you going travelling.
