Poor service re. installation of Inverter for elec

Installing an expensive Inverter as electricity back-up for load-shedding.<br> <br> Originally told it would take 3 hours to install - I needed to be present. <br> <br> Told on the day that it was only a DC team (5 hours) and then an AC team would need to do the balance. AC team not booked for next day - could only come 5 days later (load-shedding a daily occurrence between these days).<br> <br> After AC team installed a number of lights did not work/others flickered so much they could not be used. Another return by AC team to correct this.<br> <br> Shortly after installation (but no testing) - had a child's party on a Saturday - Jumping Castle plugged in. 2 hours later - no electricity. Turns out plug had been wired to run off Inverter only (thanks for telling me). Inverter ran down and then tripped. Not told/or shown about trip switch before hand. Withheld 16% of total payment as believed service was poor and inverter needed proper testing (failed to repower and tripped on its only \live"run to date).<br> <br> Told by company to switch off mains to test (did not work first time at child's party) and had to pay or guarantee would be revoked (no phone calls/apologies etc.).<br> <br> I do not recommend them!"""
