It sucks.
In December 2019 my parents bought a new Samsung fridge. They told me to deal with claiming the Buy&Get reward as they are elderly and not computer literate.
We have had no end of issues and trouble with them ever since.
1. They refused to talk with me for the first month because I am not my father. 2. We could not claim the weekend away unless my father went. He didn't want to. 3. So we picked the Mr Delivery food voucher option. 4. It worked the first month (January). 5. February, the site would not issue the vouchers. I send emails, I made phone calls - yet again having to fight to get anyone to deal with me as I am not my father. They finally fixed it, and we got our vouchers. 6. This worked fine for the rest of the months we were allowed takeaways during Covid lockdown until... 7. In September the voucher amounts changed (was R300/month until then) - now showed R400/m but could only claim R200. Went through another round of emails. They told me it would work in October. I told them I'm sure I'd be back in October when it doesn't work. 8. Sure enough, in October, my 1st voucher was not accepted. "Maximum usage reached". Sent email. Got reply that they were experiencing a "technical issue". Finally got an sms with a voucher code that worked. I waited a couple of weeks and tried to redeem my second voucher, only to find the site not loading at all. Send another email. Got told they are fixing it. Waited a few more days and could redeem my second voucher.... 9. On 31 October I tried to USE my second voucher and "Maximum usage reached" ... so I will now forfeit this voucher as they expire if not used by the end of the month. And I know that Samsung Buy and Get support will only respond to my, increasingly sarcastic, emails a week from now.
Like another reviewer here said, they go out of their way to NOT PAY OUT and they make it as difficult as possible to claim and use this wonderful kickback.
The fridge is fine. The reward has been and still is a pain.
