Bouquet of Roses
It was my birthday on Sunday and my dear friend in the UK sent me a dozen roses via Netflorist. The flowers arrived on Monday from Butterfield Flowers and Coffee Shop in Wilropark. The greenery in between the roses was old and the quality of the roses not what I would expect from a Florist. I called them. Susan asked me whether the roses were dead yet!! I said no, so she said had they been a low grade rose they would have been!! She told me what my friend had paid - R290 and I said that this is not the quality I would expect for R290. I mentioned that I had received a delivery of roses three weeks ago, also from Netflorist, and that I still had them. She then decided to give me a lecture telling me how ungrateful I am, that someone thought enough of me to send me flowers, and that I was not happy with the flowers. I have NEVER been spoken to or insulted like this and put down the phone. Hello Susan, I am your customer via my good friend in England whose feelings I would never hurt by telling her that she got very little value for the R290 she spent. I am now going to tell Netflorist about the attitude received from their service provider. What a nerve!
