Butcher Block Sibaya. A disgrace of a restaurant

The most horrid experience at the Sibaya branch by far. Arrived at 18:50 to only receive our starters at 20:30. So many simple, readily available ingredient items not available from the menu including potato mash and garden salad. Most shocking being told that there was no lettuce available to make a salad. In addition to this, No prawns available for any of the starter items and no flattie chicken. The lamb shank had an overly minty taste and came on a bed of disgusting rice instead of the signature mash and veggies that compliments the shank. The staff and chef did not even inform us that the shank would be arriving with rice as we would have changed the order (but probably would have had to wait another 3 hours for a meal). Chicken Florentine was dry and tasteless. The biggest piece of fat I have ever seen accompanied the steak that was ordered. Sushi never arrived even after 2 and half hours of ordering it and still get charged for it, only for the waiter to say that he had it with him and must of given it to someone else. And to end the meal of having dessert at 10:30, malva pudding that needed a steak knife to cut though. The manager informs that they did not expect to be so busy, which made no sense as there were vacant tables available at any given time. Cannot understand how this place is still operational. Should be closed down to save the Butcher Block title.
