Review for Business Grading Council SA (BGCSA)
In October 2024, we joined the Business Grading Council SA (BGCSA) after being contacted about their directory. The sign-up process was straightforward, but our certificate contained a spelling error (“Beauty” was printed as “Beaty”) despite us providing correct details.
Our contract was valid for 12 months, yet after only 10 months, our business listing was removed from their website without prior notice or renewal communication. We had already budgeted for renewal, but our membership ended prematurely.
Since then, our emails have gone unanswered, and phone calls to their office number are not picked up. This lack of response has made it difficult to resolve the matter.
We had promoted our membership by displaying their certificate across our platforms, and it is disappointing that the same level of professionalism and communication was not extended to us.
The BGCSA concept is valuable, but in our experience, the execution has been inconsistent. I would recommend that businesses considering membership request clear information upfront regarding contract terms, renewal processes, and support availability.

As outlined in our Terms and Conditions under Point 5: Business Responsibilities:
“We reserve the right to remove a business from the listing at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that the business no longer meets our criteria or has violated these Terms.”
Terms and Conditions
For this reason, your business has been removed from our directory.
We appreciate your past participation and wish you success in your future endeavors.

While I acknowledge the clause you referenced in your Terms and Conditions, I must express my concern regarding the wording used in your communication:
“…our findings indicate that your business no longer meets the standards required to remain part of our Trusted Business Movement.”
“…if we determine that the business no longer meets our criteria or has violated these Terms.”
“…if we determine that the business no longer meets our criteria or has violated these Terms.”
This wording directly implies that Easy Slimming has either violated BCGSA’s Terms or failed to meet your standards, which is damaging to our reputation as a multi-award-winning, internationally recognized health and wellness company.
For transparency and fairness, I formally request:
- A clear explanation of which specific criteria Easy Slimming allegedly failed to meet.
- Any evidence or documentation supporting this decision.
- Confirmation of whether our contract was prematurely terminated without notice, despite being valid for 12 months.
Without such clarification, your statement remains defamatory in nature, as it creates the perception that our company has acted in a manner unworthy of trust. This is not only misleading but harmful to the credibility we have built with clients, partners, and the public. We joined the BCGSA in good faith, paid our dues, and promoted our membership and certificate across platforms — in effect, providing your council with visibility and marketing. At minimum, professional courtesy and transparent communication should have been extended to us before removing our listing.
